National Womens Build Week May 4-10! Developed through the partnership between Lowe's and Habitat for Humanity, National Women Build Week celebrates the compassion, dedication, talents and abilities of women from all walks of life.

FYI! Look for our Booth at the 12th Annual Swan Festival to be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 in Wareham, MA. We also hope to to have a booth on Saturday, July 19th at Harbor Days in Mattapoisett and also hope to participate in the Rochester Fair to be held in August. Stay tuned for more details!
Looking for Board Members!! Board Members attend a monthly meeting held the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at our Habitat office located at 191 Main Street, Suite 209 A. Please feel free to call the office at 508.273.0225 for additional information and confirmation of meeting dates. The following are a few committees in which we need people to serve or chair: Building Committee Site Coordinator; Publicity Committee and Fundraising Committee; Family Selection; Church Relations; Public Relations; Legal and Finance.

Buzzards Bay Area Habitat for Humanity is very excited to announce that we have another donated parcel of land in Wareham (as well as probable land donations in Rochester and Fairhaven in 2008). We will be starting on the planning stages of our next Build. We are seeking volunteers to sit on the Building Committee and assist with the planning, scheduling, skilled volunteer solicitation & procurement required for this Build. The Building Committee will generally meet once per month at the discretion of the B.C. Chair and time commitment will vary from 2-6 hours per week. Please call 508.273.0225 if you are interested.
