SIGN-A-STUD:

Have your group purchase studs for the next build. Write inspirational messages on the studs. These studs can then be used to frame the house your group is helping to sponsor.

SCALE MODEL HOUSE:

Have your group build one and place it in the lobby of the school/company. Encourage donations by putting a slit in the top for those wishing to donate.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE SPAGHETTI SUPPER!

Plan a social and spice it up with a speaker, a dance or performance. Partner families make great speakers and a Board Member or our Executive Director are always willing to attend and speak at a function.

CRANK UP A CONCERT OR HOLD AN ART SALE:

Encourage those with musical talents to participate and donate the money raised to Habitat. Have artists in your school/company donate pieces of artwork to sell. Artists can get together and create Habitat-themed artwork or artwork that addresses the issue of poverty housing.

OTHER GREAT IDEAS:

Bake sales, services auction (cut someone’s grass, paint a shed, rake leaves, etc.), car washes, and garage sales. All are great ideas that involve your entire group – young and old – to help Buzzards Bay Area Habitat for Humanity.
